Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful engagement session that started on the iconic Richmond Hill, wandered through the dreamy Terrace Gardens, passed the charming Petersham Hotel, and ended in the serenity of Richmond Park.

This couple photoshoot felt like a love story unfolding in real time. Every spot we visited had its own unique atmosphere – from the panoramic views over the Thames to the lush greenery and hidden corners perfect for candid moments. Richmond is honestly one of my favourite places for photography in London, especially for couples who want a blend of nature, elegance, and history.

What made this session even more special was the significance of the Petersham Hotel. The couple actually got engaged there! So returning to that exact spot, this time with the excitement of planning their future together, brought a really symbolic and emotional layer to their engagement session. We took some stunning shots just outside the hotel, with its elegant architecture and the backdrop of the rolling landscape behind them – a mix of timeless and personal.

The shoot wrapped up in Richmond Park. There’s nothing quite like the open space and calm of the park – perfect for relaxed, natural moments that truly reflect the couple’s personality.
